Kristin Abruscato, PT, DPT, GTS is a physical therapist that joined the Weil team in September 2020. She has experience in outpatient orthopedics as well as vestibular rehabilitation. Kristin enjoys working with a variety of patients, from athletes returning to sport to balance patients. Her goal is to help all of her patients get back to doing what they love.
She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She took a year off after graduating to work as a rehabilitation aide in the same clinic where she began her career as a physical therapist. She attended Walsh University in Canton, Ohio where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
Kristin has an interest in expanding her hands-on skills with a variety of modalities. She recently earned her Graston Technique Specialist credential to assist her patients through their recovery. Her specialties include FX635 Laser, Vestibular rehab, Graston technique certified specialist, Functional Dry Needling Specialist.
In her spare time, Kristin enjoys trying new food, playing soccer, and spending time outside.
