Dr. Joseph Kim is a board-certified podiatrist who is also board-certified in foot and ankle surgery. He has served patients from the Chicagoland area for over 33 years. A University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign alumnus, Dr. Kim graduated from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989 and completed residency at the Illinois Foot and Ankle Institute and Norwegian American and has since devoted his work and life to delivering only the best care for his patients.
Adept in all procedures regarding the foot and ankle, Dr. Kim excels in both clinical podiatry as well as surgical care. He has been recognized by multiple Chicago hospitals as an amazing physician and was the official team doctor for the South Korean 1994 World Cup team. He has since been a team physician for local Chicagoland schools and has spent significant time overseas in countries of Central America for medical missions.
Dr. Kim commonly treats sports injuries like sprains and fractures and diabetic wound care and management. He also has ample experience in treating hammertoes, bunions, calluses, ingrown nails, ganglion cysts, warts, flat feet, and fungal nails.
Dr. Kim values each patient’s experience and dedicates time in his practice to building a meaningful patient-physician relationship with all those he serves.
