Victor Gonzalez Canelo is a Physical Therapist Assistant who recently joined Weil Foot and Ankle in September 2023. Victor holds his Associates in Applied Science having graduated with honors from Morton College’s PTA program in 2023.
He comes to Weil Foot and Ankle with a variety of experience in the rehabilitation field. A majority of that experience is in the out-patient setting where he worked with a variety of orthopedic conditions as well as a diverse primarily Spanish speaking patient population.
Victor continues to pursue his education. He is currently studying to obtain his Bachelors in Kinesiology at University of Illinois at Chicago with the goal of achieving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in the near future. He is interested in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and continues to expand his manual therapy skills as a PTA through continuing education courses such as the Graston Technique.
In his spare time, Victor enjoys spending time with his family and friends, trying new foods, visiting new places and attending soccer matches at Solider Field when his beloved team, Mexico, competes.
