Dr. Shuja Abbas is a podiatry specialist with Weil Foot & Ankle Institute.
He completed his undergraduate degree at Rutgers and attained his Master of Biomedical Science from Rowan University and graduated as valedictorian. He went to Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine for his doctorate of podiatric medicine, then went on to Yale New Haven for his residency where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Abbas specializes in advanced wound care management, including fat pad autografting. He also has a special interest in surgical correction of bunion deformities, sports medicine, and comprehensive care for Charcot deformities.
He is a Yale Surgical Society member and a member of the Stirling Harford DiPrimio Honorary Anatomical Society.
As Dr. Abbas has recently moved to Chicago, he enjoys exploring the city with his wife. He also enjoys staying up-to-date with technology and is a tech hobbyist. You can find Dr. Abbas in his free time shooting photography of the beautiful Chicago landscapes or working on the latest 3D printing project.
Dr. Abbas supports patients in English, Hindi, Udru, and Conversational Spanish.
