Dr. Michael Buck is an ABFAS board certified foot surgeon at Weil Foot & Ankle Institute and a Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons.
He has over three decades of clinical experience. After receiving his undergraduate in biology from Benedictine University in Lisle, he received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, back when the school was located in downtown Chicago. He completed his surgical residency at Mercy Hospital in Chicago, finishing in 1990.
Afterward, Dr. Buck partnered with several experienced podiatrists, including his mother-in-law, Dr. Lila Mancini. He joined WFAI with his partner Dr. Bart Beaver in 2017. He has a general practice and enjoys the variety he is exposed to by treating patients of all ages.
Dr. Buck has three children – two boys and one girl. Dr. Buck is also blessed to be married to his wonderful wife, Maureen, for over 20 years.
