Dr. Mary Ann Bender has over two decades of experience working in podiatry and sports medicine. She trained for many years as a competitive figure skater, so she knows firsthand how important proper foot care is for a serious athlete. More importantly, Dr. Bender understands how to treat patients effectively and compassionately, either with or without surgery.
In addition to working at our lovely Oak Park podiatry practice, Dr. Bender is also highly engaged in the Oak Park community. She has served as president of the Oak Park River Forest Chamber of Commerce and has won several awards for her work with that organization. She is also a member of the OPRF Rotary Club, and volunteers frequently at Horace Mann Elementary School (where her daughters attend).
When not on the job, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her two daughters. Unsurprisingly, she lives with her family in Oak Park.
