Dr. Kayna Patel is a podiatrist with Weil Foot & Ankle Institute.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Biology from Loyola University of Chicago in 2016. She completed her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University in 2021. Dr. Patel completed her residency at McLaren Macomb Hospital (Civic Hospital/Kern) in 2024, followed by advanced fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at the Michigan Advanced Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship in 2025.

Dr. Patel specializes in comprehensive foot and ankle care with advanced training in total ankle joint replacement, adult reconstruction, sports medicine, and limb salvage techniques. She offers both minimally invasive and traditional surgical solutions, and treats conditions such as bunions, foot and ankle deformities, diabetic foot complications, and chronic wounds.

Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, weekend getaways, and traveling to explore new places and cultures. She is an avid Peloton user and recently took up golf, appreciating both its challenge and tranquility.
