A native of Southern New Hampshire, Dr. Jacob Tilsley is committed to providing the highest quality foot and ankle care.
He attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earning a degree in Biochemistry. There, he was a four-year member of the Men’s Gymnastics team, winning the team national title his freshman season. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Following his degree, he completed a three-year surgical residency at Rush University Medical Center, serving as the chief podiatric surgical resident during his third year. During residency, he presented research at National Scientific Conferences.
While well versed in all aspects of podiatry, he specializes in Sports Medicine, Reconstructive surgery, Wound Care, and Biomechanics.
Dr. Tilsley prides himself in providing his patients with the utmost care and compassion. He strives to treat each patient like they are a member of his own family. He is a passionate learner and dedicated to practicing the latest advances in medicine and surgery.
Dr. Tilsley lives in Lincoln Park and can often be found walking his dog, running along the lakefront, or grilling food on the balcony. He is excited to meet you and cannot wait to help get you back on your feet and back to doing what you love.
