Dr. Ilham Syed was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and is thrilled to serve the Chicagoland community.

She attained her undergraduate degree from Trinity University and her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University. She completed her residency at Heritage Valley Beaver in Pennsylvania.

As a podiatric surgeon with a strong sense of community, Dr. Syed is passionate about providing the highest level of care to her patients and prioritizing personalized care. She is especially focused on minimally invasive surgical techniques – ensuring her patients a swift and safe return to activity. She specializes in Lapiplasty and MIS Bunion Surgery.

“I pride myself on providing excellent patient education and satisfaction,” she said.

Dr. Syed enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring Chicago’s food scene, visiting local bookstores, going on walks in the city, and traveling.
