Dr. Drew Burdi is a board-certified Podiatrist, is ABFAS® Board Certified in Foot Surgery, ABFAS® Board Qualified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery (RRA) and a Fellow member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.  Dr. Burdi loves interacting with his patients and finding innovative and effective ways to treat their foot and ankle injuries and conditions. Dr. Burdi’s passion is first and foremost helping his patients and giving them the care they deserve.

Dr. Burdi graduated summa cum laude from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. During his time at Western Michigan University, Dr. Burdi was also a member of the Lee Honors College and a quarterback for the Western Michigan football team. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Burdi went on to complete a three-year podiatric surgical and medicine residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL. His residency training focused on all aspects of foot and ankle deformity correction, forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, trauma, total ankle replacements, sports medicine, lower extremity nerve decompression, wound care, and diabetic limb salvage. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Burdi continued his training at the Southeastern Permanente foot and ankle fellowship in Atlanta, GA. During his fellowship, Dr. Burdi continued his surgical training in foot and ankle trauma, forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, sports medicine, diabetic limb salvage, and minimally invasive bunion correction.

Following his fellowship, Dr. Burdi joined a podiatric medical group in Greeley, Colorado. While in Colorado, Dr. Burdi completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Northern Colorado Medical Center, where he won Attending of the Year in 2024. Dr. Burdi was also one of the first and only physicians performing minimally invasive bunion corrective surgery in the state of Colorado.

Dr. Burdi puts a strong emphasis on minimally invasive surgeries, including for bunion correction, hammertoe correction, bunionette correction, Haglund’s deformity resection, and Achilles tendon rupture repair. His other specialties include Total Ankle Replacement, Flatfoot reconstruction, Ankle fracture repair, Foot fracture repair, Lateral ankle instability repair, Plantar plate reconstruction, Charcot reconstruction, Lower extremity nerve decompression, Advanced wound care therapy and grafting, PRP injections, and Shockwave therapy.

Dr. Burdi is originally from Downers Grove, IL, and currently lives in Northern Illinois with his wife and their two dogs. In his free time, Dr. Burdi enjoys golf, football, hiking, skiing, being outdoors, and spending time with family.
