Dr. Dhruv Patel is a podiatric physician with Weil Foot & Ankle Institute.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biostatistics from Loyola University Chicago in 2018 before receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Rosalind Franklin University Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2023. Dr. Patel completed his residency at OSF Saint Katharine Medical Center in Dixon, Illinois in 2026.

Dr. Patel provides comprehensive foot and ankle care with expertise in both conservative and surgical treatment. His clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, total ankle replacement, bunion correction, diabetic foot care, pediatric podiatry, sports medicine, regenerative treatments, trauma care, shockwave therapy, and advanced wound care. He is committed to developing individualized treatment plans that relieve pain, restore mobility, and help patients safely return to work, recreation, and the activities they enjoy while utilizing the most appropriate conservative and surgical treatment options for each patient’s needs.

Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys staying active by working out and playing basketball, exploring new restaurants around the city, and spending quality time with family and friends. He especially enjoys spending time with his parents, fiancée, and younger brother.

Dr. Patel supports patients in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
