Dr. Poonam Patel is a podiatric physician with 1Foot 2Foot.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Biology from Virginia Wesleyan University in 2019 before receiving her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2023. Dr. Patel completed her residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in 2026, where she received comprehensive training in both conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Patel provides comprehensive foot and ankle care with expertise in both conservative and surgical treatment. Her clinical interests include bunion surgery, minimally invasive surgery, diabetic foot care, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, regenerative treatments, sports medicine, wound care, trauma, pediatric podiatry, and plantar plate repair. She is committed to delivering individualized, patient-centered care and works closely with each patient to develop treatment plans that restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Patel is passionate about fitness and enjoys training as a bodybuilder, appreciating the discipline and commitment the sport requires. She is also an avid Liverpool Football Club supporter, enjoys international travel and experiencing different cultures, and values spending quality time with friends and family.
