Service To Our Guests Is Our Value –
Service To Our Community Is Our Duty!
Consistent with 1Foot 2Foot’s vision, mission, and values, Dr. Dairman created the Be A Goody2Shoes program to promote the giving of time, service, and money by our physicians and team members to those in need. It is our responsibility and pleasure to care for our community and hope our actions lead by example. This program takes gently used shoes or sneakers that are inspected and cleaned and distributes them to local shelters. For more than a decade we have treated patients referred to us by the Western Tidewater Free Clinic free of charge. From heel pain to surgical reconstruction, we treat these patients with the dignity and respect they deserve like every other patient under our care. Additionally, we donate $1 for every single billable patient visit!
Some of the other ways we have supported our community:
- Zero the End of Prostate Cancer
- American Cancer Society – Relay for Life
- FoodBank of Southeastern Virginia
- Suffolk Literacy Council
- Western Tidewater Free Clinic
- Suffolk Humane Society
- American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

The plantar fascia is the thick band of tissue that runs along the bottom of your foot, connecting the heel to the arch of the foot and the toes. When this tissue becomes inflamed, it becomes a painful condition that causes an aching stabbing pain in the foot often worst when standing after long periods of rest.
There are many conditions that may be causing your heel pain. While some cases may be treated at home, it is always best to have your condition diagnosed by a medical professional.
The winter can be hard on our bodies. The cold air and driving winds can leave our lips chapped and our hands raw. At least those signs are easy to see. What about our feet?
