The Michigan Board of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery was established to license and regulate the practice of podiatric medicine in the state. The board oversees the evaluation, diagnosis, management, and prevention of lower extremity conditions—ranging from foot and ankle injuries to systemic manifestations of disease—through both medical and surgical interventions.
Dr. Sundling will serve as a representative of podiatrists across the state, succeeding Jodie Sengstock, whose term has concluded.
