Dr. Raffi Khechoumian is a podiatric physician with University Foot & Ankle Institute.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from California State University, Northridge in 2015. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Rosalind Franklin University in 2019, followed by a Master of Science in Health Administration and Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2023. Dr. Khechoumian completed his residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2026, where his training emphasized both conservative treatment and advanced surgical techniques for foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Khechoumian provides comprehensive foot and ankle care, approaching treatment as a partnership between physician and patient. He believes the best outcomes begin with listening carefully, educating patients about their condition, and working together to determine the treatment approach that best fits their individual needs, goals, and lifestyle. His broad training allows him to manage conditions ranging from sports injuries and diabetic foot concerns to complex trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle conditions using both conservative and surgical options. Whether helping a patient return to work or sports, recover from an injury, or simply walk without pain, Dr. Khechoumian is committed to compassionate, evidence-based care and individualized treatment.

Outside of podiatry, Dr. Khechoumian enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, cooking and trying different cuisines, and honing his barista skills. An avid soccer and volleyball player, he has also recently taken up golf. He enjoys exploring new technology, learning new skills, and spending quality time with family and friends, making the most of every opportunity to enjoy life..
