David Wells D.P.M. is a podiatrist with the Sacramento Foot and Ankle Center. He grew up in Long Beach, California and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Biola University where he graduated Cum Laude. He states he was greatly influenced by a physician who was a past president of the APMA and ultimately decided to pursue a career in podiatry, which he finds to be extremely rewarding.
He graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and finished his residency in Kansas City at Truman Medical Center in foot and ankle surgery. He worked for a year in Shawnee Mission, Kansas before moving to Modesto, California where he practiced for 33 years privately and in a medical group.
Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery he finds all aspects of general podiatry and podiatric surgery enjoyable. Particularly rewarding to him are limb salvage procedures for conditions such as wounds, ulcers and infections including bone involvement.
Currently, Dr. Wells is working part time in our Rocklin and Folsom offices as a clinic-based, non-surgical Provider, treating a whole array of common podiatric conditions that affect the musculoskeletal and dermatologic areas of the foot and ankle.
When not in the office Dr. Wells enjoys woodworking, golfing, hiking, traveling, and golf cart rides with his grandchildren.
