Dr. Maribel Espinoza is a podiatric physician with Sacramento Foot & Ankle Center.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego in 2016. She went on to complete her graduate studies at Georgetown University, graduating in 2017, before completing her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Espinoza completed her three-year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville in 2026.
Dr. Espinoza provides comprehensive foot and ankle care with a focus on both conservative and surgical treatment. She has specialized training from a Level 1 Trauma Center and clinical interests that include bunion surgery, diabetic foot care, wound management, plantar plate repair, and podiatric surgery. She also has a particular interest in treating lateral ankle instability and heel pain, with a goal of further specializing in forefoot pathology. Her approach emphasizes patient education and helping individuals clearly understand their condition and treatment options.
Outside of work, Dr. Espinoza enjoys baking and traveling. She was born and raised in Sacramento, California and is excited to return home to serve her local community.
