Dr. Alexis Vera is a podiatric physician with University Foot & Ankle Institute.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Utah State University in 2018 before receiving her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2023. Dr. Vera completed her residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2026.
Dr. Vera provides comprehensive foot and ankle care with expertise in both conservative and surgical treatment. Her clinical interests include sports medicine, minimally invasive surgery, total ankle replacement, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic foot care, trauma, wound care, pediatric podiatry, and regenerative treatments. Inspired by her own background in athletics, she enjoys helping patients of all ages return to the activities they love through individualized treatment plans that focus on restoring mobility, relieving pain, and improving long-term function. Outside of work, Dr. Vera enjoys weight lifting, baking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two cats, Theo and Leo. She played soccer and ran track while growing up, experiences that sparked her lifelong interest in sports medicine.
