Dr. Alexander Maroshek is a podiatric physician with University Foot & Ankle Institute.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Theatre from the University of South Carolina in 2014 before receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2022. Dr. Maroshek completed his residency at Hackensack Meridian – Jersey Shore University Medical Center in 2025, where he served as Chief Resident. He further advanced his training through the Bucks County Orthopedic Specialists (BCOS) Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Penn Medicine in 2026, gaining specialized experience in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and complex lower extremity conditions.
Dr. Maroshek provides comprehensive foot and ankle care with expertise in both conservative and surgical treatment. His clinical interests include sports injuries, fracture and tendon rupture care, total ankle replacement, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, minimally invasive procedures, arthroscopic surgery, regenerative medicine, wound care, and arthritis management. He is committed to developing individualized treatment plans that restore function, relieve pain, and help patients safely return to work, athletics, and the activities they enjoy. His advanced fellowship training allows him to care for both routine foot problems and complex reconstructive conditions using the latest surgical techniques.
Outside of work, Dr. Maroshek enjoys strength training, cooking, and cheering on the University of South Carolina Gamecocks during football season.
