Dr. Nathan Hansen is a podiatric physician and surgeon with Integrative Foot & Ankle Centers of Washington.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering from Utah State University in 2008. He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in 2014, followed by a surgical residency at Puget Sound Healthcare System, which he completed in 2017.
Dr. Nathan Hansen has over seven years of podiatry experience and is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon by ABFAS®. He earned his degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, California, and did his residency at the Puget Sound VA Health Care program in Seattle, Washington. His areas of expertise include sports injuries, diabetic ulcers, as well as reconstructive foot surgery. He also provides advanced treatments such as shockwave therapy and custom orthotics.

Dr. Hansen understands the needs of maintaining an active lifestyle. He is an avid mountaineer and rock climber and has climbed most of the major peaks in the Pacific Northwest. He is an accomplished ultra-marathoner, having completed three 100-mile ultra-marathons and several 50-mile races! On his free time, Dr. Hansen also enjoys backcountry skiing all over the Cascades and sailing with his wife around Puget Sound.
Prior to his podiatric career, Dr. Hansen worked as a biomedical engineer and holds several patents, including one for a surgical device he personally uses in practice. He enjoys mountain climbing, skiing, distance running, sailing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Diana. He also dedicates time to remodeling their home, a project he describes as a lifelong adventure.
