Dr. Toby Ishizuka is a podiatrist with Bay Area Foot Care.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology from Gonzaga University in 2013. He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University and finished his foot and ankle surgical residency at Kaiser San Francisco and Oakland Medical Center in 2020.

Dr. Ishizuka provides comprehensive foot and ankle care, with expertise in bunion surgery, trauma, diabetic foot care, pediatric podiatry, plantar plate repair, sports medicine, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He is certified in Lapiplasty® and performs reconstructive rearfoot and ankle procedures. He also has clinical interest in regenerative treatments such as PRP injections, amniotic injections, hyaluronic acid injections, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, and MLS laser therapy.

Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Dr. Ishizuka graduated from Punahou School. He enjoys tennis, volleyball, hiking, Barry’s workout classes, and exploring culinary techniques—his specialty is Bolognese sauce pasta. He shares his home with two Basenji African hound dogs.
