Dr. Rajat Lahiri is a podiatric physician with Bay Area Foot Care.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering with honors from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019 before receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University in 2023, where he graduated with Pi Delta honors. Dr. Lahiri completed his residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle in 2026, one of the nation’s premier podiatric surgical training programs, where he received extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, and complex foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Lahiri provides comprehensive foot and ankle care with expertise in both conservative and surgical treatment. His clinical interests include minimally invasive bunion surgery, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, total ankle replacement, sports medicine, foot and ankle trauma, diabetic foot care, regenerative treatments, and pediatric foot conditions. Drawing on his engineering background, he approaches each case with a problem-solving mindset and develops individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals. He has developed particular expertise in minimally invasive bunion surgery and has been invited to lecture at both state and national conferences on this advanced surgical technique.
Originally from Seattle, Dr. Lahiri is excited to serve patients throughout the Bay Area. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and family, football, soccer, traveling, discovering foods from around the world, and staying active. He is a devoted supporter of the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team and was thrilled to attend matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Dr. Lahiri supports patients in English and Bengali.
