Nicole Surdock, DPM, FACFAS, has provided caring and compassionate podiatric care to patients in the Santa Cruz County for years. Dr. Surdock offers both medical and surgical solutions for a variety of foot and ankle concerns.
She completed her undergraduate degree at University of California, Davis, and later graduated with honors from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt College in Oakland. During her time at CSPM, Dr. Surdock received an award for outstanding student performance.
After graduation, she went on to complete a three-year residency in podiatry at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, California, where she received extensive surgical training in foot trauma and reconstruction. During the final year of her residency, Dr. Surdock oversaw other podiatry residents and trained primary care physicians in the field of general podiatric care.
In recent years, Dr. Surdock has helped manage a specialized pediatric foot clinic. The clinic focuses on identifying and treating congenital foot pathologies in children. Dr. Surdock is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the California Podiatric Medicine Association.
Dr. Surdock focuses on helping each of her patients stay healthy and active. Her goal is always to provide patients with compassionate and personalized care. Dr. Surdock also believes deeply in the importance of quality doctor-patient communication. She works hard to provide all of her patients with the information they need to keep their feet healthy.
When not helping patients achieve their treatment goals, Dr. Surdock enjoys hiking, golf, snowboarding, and spending time with her family and pets.
