Dr. Najwa Javed is a podiatric physician for Bay Area Foot Care.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma. She went on to complete a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Clinical Research with honors from the University of North Texas. Dr. Javed received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University and completed her surgical residency training through the VA Palo Alto and Stanford University consortium.

Dr. Javed focuses on the treatment of foot and ankle injuries through biomechanical stability, surgical innovation, and regenerative medicine. Her clinical interests include limb salvage, trauma, and biomechanics. She has also served as adjunct faculty with the VA San Francisco residency program teaching residents and medical students and has consulted with biologic companies specializing in cryopreserved stem cell applications for wound healing. Additionally, she serves as a medical reviewer for MD Review, supporting hospitals and healthcare organizations through external peer review services.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Javed enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors in the beautiful California sunshine!
