A native of Iran, Dr. Monara Dini is board-certified in podiatry and foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Dini attended the University of California – Berkeley and achieved her undergraduate degree in molecular and cellular biology in 2003. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland in 2008. She also completed both an internship and her residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco.
Dr. Dini specializes in sports medicine, limb salvage, foot surgery, and forefoot reconstruction at Bay Area Foot Care. She has a particular interest in treating lower extremity wounds to help patients recover and avoid amputation.
Dr. Dini is a member of numerous professional associations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the California Podiatric Medical Association, and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care.
Along with private practice, Dr. Dini is passionate about education. She serves as an associate clinical professor of podiatry at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University.
She is proud to treat patients in both English and Farsi.
In her spare time, Dr. Dini enjoys cooking and working out.
