Dr. Vartivarian earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Houston in 2005. He was then accepted into the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, where he graduated with honors in 2009. Dr. Vartivarian specializes in treatments for the back end of the foot and ankle. He frequently performs foot and ankle surgery, reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, and diabetic limb salvage.

When he isn’t in the San Francisco area restoring patients’ abilities to walk with comfort and ease, Dr. Vartivarian enjoys spending time with his wife, Christy, and daughter, Sofie, at their home in Northern California. He also enjoys sporting events, concerts, barbecues, and cooking in his spare time.
