Dr. David Tran is an active, passionate podiatrist at Bay Area Foot Care.
Dr. Tran received his B.S. and dual B.A. degrees from San Francisco State University before graduating from the California College of Podiatric Medicine with both his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine and his Master of Medical Education. Dr. Tran completed his residency training from St. Mary’s Medical Center before entering private practice and academia in 2001.
Dr. Tran is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) as well as the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry (ABMSP).
Dr. Tran is a current faculty with the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University. He is also the Associate Director of Admission and Director of Graduate Placement for the program.
Dr. Tran is active in the field and has served in numerous capacities such as to the House of Delegates of the California Podiatric Medical Association, being a past President of the San Francisco/San Mateo Podiatric Medical Society and past President of the Alumni & Associates of CSPM.
Dr. Tran’s passion is to keep his patients active and mobile and to address patients’ medical conditions targeted to his patients’ goals and aspirations whether that be conservative or surgical.
In his spare time, he is a big fan of the superheroes of the DC and Marvel Universe.
