Dr. Daniel SooHoo is a podiatric physician with Bay Area Foot Care.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Oregon State University in 2017 before receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine in 2023. Dr. SooHoo completed his residency at UCSF Health Stanyan in San Francisco, California in 2026. During his training, he remained actively involved in clinical research focused on foot biomechanics, flatfoot correction, and osteochondral lesions of the ankle.
Dr. SooHoo provides comprehensive foot and ankle care with expertise in both conservative and surgical treatment. His clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, sports medicine, bunion correction, diabetic foot care, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma care, regenerative treatments, wound management, arthroscopy, plantar plate repair, and foot and ankle revision surgery. He is committed to developing individualized treatment plans that relieve pain, restore mobility, and help patients safely return to the activities they enjoy through evidence-based conservative and surgical care. His background in exercise science and biomechanics supports a comprehensive approach to improving lower extremity function and long-term foot health. Outside of work, Dr. SooHoo enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, attempting golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife. He also enjoys relaxing at home with their cat.
