Dr. Anthony Poggio is a podiatrist with Bay Area Foot Care.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1979. He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1984. Dr. Poggio completed his residency at Pacific Coast Hospital in 1986.
Dr. Poggio provides expert care in podiatric medicine and surgery with decades of experience. He is board certified by ABPM and specializes in procedures such as Lapiplasty®, diabetic foot care, wound care, bunion surgery, and trauma management. He also offers care for pediatric patients and provides second opinions for complex foot and ankle cases.
Dr. Poggio is committed to patient-centered care and improving outcomes for all foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Poggio is a physician reviewer for several insurance companies and is the California Podiatric Medical Association’s representative to Medicare. In his spare time, he likes to hike, garden, and play with his granddaughter.
