Dr. Lavigna is a recognized professional in the Bay Area medical community and is proud to provide high-quality care to Bay Area residents.

Upon graduating from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989, Dr. Lavigna completed a podiatric internship at Worcester Podiatry, Massachusetts, finishing his foot and ankle surgical residency at Worcester City Hospital in 1991.

Dr. Lavigna opened his first clinic in San Francisco before moving his practice to Oakland, California, in 1996. He has been in practice in the area for over two decades. Today, Dr. Lavigna is Chief of Podiatry at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland.

At Bay Area Foot Care, Dr. Lavigna specializes in foot and ankle care for personal injuries, illness, workers’ compensation cases, and cosmetic procedures. Working with the most cutting-edge technologies, Dr. Lavigna offers noninvasive treatment modalities from cosmetic care to complex injuries.
