Dr. Sundling became interested in podiatry at a young age after undergoing foot surgery. Since then, she has worked closely with patients to ensure that they receive the proper treatment and care to remedy their foot and ankle concerns. Because of her interest and involvement in sports, she also has a specialized interest in sports medicine and other areas of podiatry, including diabetic foot care and surgery.
Dr. Sundling’s education is extensive and includes a degree in Sociology from Kenyon College, followed by a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago. She also completed Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She received a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
Dr. Sundling is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and she also serves as the Young Physician Member of their Board of Trustees. As a nationwide representative of young podiatrists, she heads the Young Physician Leadership Panel and sits on various related committees. She is also a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association.
When she’s not busy providing high-quality podiatric care, Dr. Sundling enjoys competing in triathlons, skiing, traveling, and crafting.
