Dr. Michelle Cummins is a Bay Area native, born and raised in the Saratoga-Los Gatos area.
She obtained her B.S. in biochemistry and cell biology, with a minor in Chinese studies, from UC San Diego. In addition to her studies, Dr. Cummins was a decorated student-athlete in high school and college in the triple jump and short hurdles. Dr. Cummins received her doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her foot and ankle surgical residency at the VA Palo Alto Medical Center, which included training at Stanford Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Medical Center.
Dr. Cummins has an interest in general podiatry and sports medicine. She also has extensive training in diabetic foot care, limb salvage, and wound care.
Outside of work, Dr. Cummins enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family. Some of her hobbies include reading, creating art, and running.
