Dr Larkin was born and raised in the Las Vegas Valley. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Southern Utah University. He attended the California School of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated with honors and top of clinicals. He was recognized as a recipient of the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities, a professor-nominated award.

Dr. Larkin was accepted into a distinguished 3 year residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This highly competitive internship and residency offers selected DPM’s advanced training and certificates in MD/DO General Surgery. This prestigious residency is the only one in the nation to do so. During his third year of residency, Dr. Larkin was chosen as Chief Resident where he oversaw and led the younger residents in their training. Dr. Larkin is trained in trauma, plastic, reconstructive, and limb salvage surgery of the foot and ankle. He has a particular interest in skin grafting and arthroscopic procedures of the foot and ankle and received extensive training in these procedures. Dr. Larkin’s educational pursuits have lead him to conduct research that has been published in Wound closure techniques, tissue expanders, treatments for plantar warts, and rates of amputations and cost effectiveness. He has also lectured on Internal and External fixation devices, wound care and reconstruction of the foot and ankle.
