Dr. Darren Groberg is a podiatric physician with Advanced Foot & Ankle Center. He is a life-long Utah resident, an active member of the Salt Lake City community, and highly experienced in the field of podiatry.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University. He completed his residency at Intermountain Medical Center and the VA in 2012.

Dr. Groberg is board-certified in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He’s also a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Utah Podiatric Medical Association. An experienced researcher, Dr. Groberg has participated in several studies analyzing tissue grafts and wound care. He specializes in reconstructive surgery, wound care, and diabetic limb preservation, with contributions to research in wound healing and diabetic complications.

Outside of work, he enjoys fly fishing, pickleball, backpacking, boating, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Groberg supports patients in English and French.
