Dr. Christian Smith is a podiatric physician with Advanced Foot & Ankle Center.
Dr. Smith received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University. He then went on to Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona, where he completed his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. He was accepted into the Intermountain Medical Center Residency program, where he completed a three-year residency in forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot surgery, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He will be joining Dr. Groberg and Dr. Preece as a new associate at the Salt Lake Podiatry Center.
Dr. Smith is a dedicated podiatrist specializing in comprehensive foot and ankle care including sports medicine, trauma, the diabetic foot and surgical interventions. From diagnosing common issues like bunions and heel pain to addressing complex conditions, he provides tailored treatment plans. Whether it’s non-invasive therapies or surgical procedures, his goal is to improve his patient’s foot health and mobility. His patients trust him for compassionate care and expertise in both conservative and surgical approaches to foot health.
Dr. Smith loves to be outside during the summer months, fishing, mountain biking, and playing golf. His favorite way to stay active is to play pickleball with his friends! During the winter, Christian enjoys staying inside, reading books, and playing board games with those closest to him.
