Dr. Golshahi was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and moved to Irvine, CA with her family at ten years of age. She received her undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Irvine, where she double majored in Biological Sciences and Psychology. She then went on to complete a Post-baccalaureate Pre-Medical program from the University of California, Berkeley. She then obtained her Doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a three year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with an added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery at Lakewood Regional Medical Center and Los Alamitos Medical Center. As chief resident in her final year of training, she exceled in the advanced techniques of foot and ankle reconstruction, biomechanics, sports medicine and the treatment of the diabetic foot.

Dr. Golshahi has a special interest in treatment of the diabetic foot and wound care. During her residency, she dedicated her time at various wound care centers and found herself drawn to the fascinating and complex nature of wound care. She finds it rewarding to be able to utilize the vast array of treatment options available in wound care, tailoring to specific patient needs.

Dr. Golshahi grew up surrounded by physicians in her family, and her father, who is a surgeon, always instilled the importance of treating patients with kindness, compassion, and empathy. Her philosophy as a physician is to treat her patients the same way she would treat her own family, and is a firm believer in providing the highest standard of patient care. She enjoys taking the time to explain all aspects of her patients diagnoses and treatment plans so that her patients can take an active role in their healthcare. She takes pleasure in getting to know her patients, and building relationships as their treatment progresses. She feels blessed to be able to utilize her knowledge to help those affected by foot or ankle ailments, and enable them to walk pain free again.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two sons, taking nature walks, hiking, and going to the beach with friends and family. She is a food enthusiast and enjoys trying new local farm-to-table restaurants and mom and pop establishments.

Dr. Golshahi is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine.
