Dr. Mher Vartivarian is a podiatric specialist and a Houston native.
Dr. Vartivarian earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Houston in 2005. He was then accepted into the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, where he graduated with honors in 2009. He went on to complete a three-year residency at Kaiser Permanente North Bay Consortium.
Dr. Vartivarian remains an avid learner and is now a teacher himself. He frequently mentors students, residents, and fellows along their path to a career in podiatry. To continue his own learning and bring new and innovative methods into practice, he holds memberships with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the California Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Vartivarian specializes in treatments for the back end of the foot and ankle. He frequently performs foot and ankle surgery, reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, and diabetic limb salvage.
When he isn’t in the San Francisco area restoring patients’ abilities to walk with comfort and ease, Dr. Vartivarian enjoys spending time with his wife, Christy, and daughter, Sofie, at their home in Northern California. He also enjoys sporting events, concerts, barbecues, and cooking in his spare time.
Dr. Vartivarian supports patients in English and Armenian.
