About Richard Seegmiller, DPM
Board-certified podiatrist Richard Seegmiller, DPM, provides patient-centered care at Advanced Foot & Ankle Center in Bountiful, West Jordan, and Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. In addition to general podiatry care, Dr. Seegmiller specializes in diabetic foot care, podiatric surgery and biomechanics, and sports medicine.
After earning his Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah, Dr. Seegmiller went on to pursue his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his podiatric surgical residency at Kern Hospital in Warren, Michigan.
Dr. Seegmiller understands the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field and is active in several professional organizations. He is a member of the American Diabetes Association, a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and a Diplomat of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Seegmiller is also a past president of the Utah Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Seegmiller is a self-described family man and Grandpa who has been happily married to his wife, Jennifer, for over 30 years. His son is also a podiatrist, and his daughter is an architect working in a firm in Salt Lake City. When he’s not seeing patients at Advanced Foot & Ankle Center, he enjoys golfing, playing ultimate Frisbee, skiing, and spending time with his family.
