Dr. Melissa Lipari is a podiatrist with Premier Podiatry and Orthopedics.
Dr. Lipari attended Sonoma State University for her undergraduate degree. She then went on to the California School of Podiatric Medicine for her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. After getting her doctorate, Dr. Lipari completed her residency through Legacy Health, and then completed her fellowship at the University of Louisville Reconstructive Foot/Ankle and Limb Salvage Fellowship Program.
Dr. Lipari believes that every patient deserves personalized, compassionate treatment tailored to their unique needs. Her goal is to provide expert foot and ankle care, ensuring patients feel supported, informed, and confident in their treatment journey. In doing this, she remains committed to staying current with medical advancements and the latest research. In addition to serving her local community, she is passionate about international medicine. She practices annually with The International Extremity Project, performing deformity correction in underdeveloped regions like Vietnam, Namibia, and Angola.
Today, Dr. Lipari specializes in all aspects of foot and ankle care but holds a deep passion for surgical techniques including but not limited to Bunion surgery, Lapiplasty, Charcot Reconstruction, Clubfoot reconstruction, arthroscopy, foot and ankle revision surgery, rearfoot reconstruction, and total ankle replacement (TAR). She also treats diabetic patients for wounds as well as for prevention.
When not treating patients, Dr. Lipari likes to spend time on outdoor adventures. Rock climbing has been a lifelong passion for her. She competed on a team from ages 10 to 18 and now trains in the gym during the week to prepare for outdoor climbs. With her family living in Lake Tahoe, she always cherishes the time she gets to spend with them amidst the beauty of the mountains.
