Dr. Eric Feit has been practicing podiatry since 1996. He is a board-certified podiatrist, podiatric physician and surgeon, and medical director.
Dr. Feit attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine, then completed a three-year residency program in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery in San Francisco in 1996. Due to the academic nature of his residency, he dedicates himself to educating other doctors and educating his patients about their injuries and ailments. He has written many articles in medical literature, and he is a frequent speaker at some of the largest medical conferences in the western region of the United States.
He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In addition, he is the past president of the American Diabetes Association in Los Angeles. He joined the Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association in 1998 and became president of the LA Chapter in 2001. This is the second largest and most active chapter in the United States. He volunteers at locations throughout LA on behalf of the association to educate others about the effects of diabetes and how to prevent and treat diabetic conditions such as neuropathy, foot ulcers, infections, and limb salvage.
Dr. Feit specializes in many advanced surgical techniques including endoscopic plantar fasciotomies, ankle arthroscopy, rearfoot fusions, fracture repair, and computer-generated custom orthotics.
Outside of podiatry, Dr. Feit has been passionate about tennis since he was a child. He was a nationally ranked junior player and a college all-American in 1987 at Guilford College. He played professionally briefly in 1996 prior to attending podiatric medical school. He has written several articles on sports-related foot/ankle injuries and has a unique understanding of running, tennis, and other sports injuries.
