Dr. Blake Wallace grew up in the Central Coast of California in Atascadero.
He attended California Polytechnic University where he graduated with honors in Biochemistry. After college, he took a five-year sabbatical from academia to live in South Lake Tahoe to ski and enjoy the mountains.
While in Tahoe he found his lifelong and professional calling in Podiatry, working as a medical assistant for a podiatrist in Carson City, Nevada. He attended Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, for medical school where he graduated Valedictorian. After medical school, Dr. Wallace pursued top-tier surgical training in Indianapolis. He trained in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery under 60+ surgeons, learning advanced techniques while also serving as Chief Resident. He received extensive clinical and surgical training.
Dr. Wallace specializes in reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery. He is highly trained in surgery for bunions, arthritis, trauma, Charcot, arthroscopy, hammertoes, wounds, and skin conditions. He offers minimally invasive surgical treatment for bunions as well as complex deformity correction and external fixation. He also is one of the nation’s leading experts in peripheral nerve surgery, treating conditions such as post-surgical nerve pain, complex regional pain syndrome, neuropathy, and neuromas. He loves treating all types of foot and ankle issues in clinic including plantar fasciitis, warts, bunions, arthritis, flat feet, tendonitis, sports injuries, and diabetic foot care.
In his spare time, Dr. Wallace enjoys spending time with his wife and being active outdoors. He met his wife during medical school, and they later married in Arizona. She is a native to Peoria, Arizona, and they are incredibly happy to serve patients in Arizona and live near their family and friends. They enjoy hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, mountain biking, traveling, board games, family get-togethers, and spending time with their pets.
Dr Wallace is accepting new patients and is ready to help anyone with foot and ankle pain.
