Dr. Akhil Korrapati is a podiatric physician and surgeon with Precision Foot & Ankle Centers.

Dr. Korrapati provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for the lower extremity with clinical interests in foot and ankle reconstruction, traumatic fracture repair, sports medicine, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care. His approach emphasizes evidence-based treatment and compassionate care to improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Korrapati completed his undergraduate studies in Health Services with a minor in Exercise Science at the University of Pittsburgh in 2014. He earned a graduate degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University in 2017 and later received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2021. He completed a comprehensive three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, a top-ranked Level I Trauma Center.

Dr. Korrapati is experienced in a wide range of advanced surgical procedures and technologies, including Lapiplasty®, total ankle replacement (TAR), minimally invasive surgery, and regenerative treatments. He treats a full spectrum of foot and ankle pathology, including bunions, trauma, pediatric conditions, Charcot reconstruction, clubfoot, wounds, and sports injuries.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Korrapati enjoys traveling, exploring Los Angeles’ vibrant food scene, playing soccer and golf, weightlifting, hiking, and attending live sporting events. As a former athlete, he brings firsthand insight into the prevention and treatment of lower extremity sports injuries.

Dr. Korrapati supports patients in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
